Manon Surget, 16, found healthy and saved in Schaerbeek after his disappearance in Saint -Gilles

Good news comes to put an end to the concern that has been hovering for more than a week around Manon Surget, 16, missing in Saint -Gilles since July 16. His father announced via Facebook that his daughter had been found healthy and saved in Schaerbeek. Child Focus also confirms the information.

The girl had left her family home in the afternoon of July 16 and had no longer gave a sign of life. She measures about 1 m 60, has long hair and brown eyes, carries glasses, and was dressed when she disappeared from a black t-shirt, a black hooded vest, black pants and black sneakers.

A research notice was launched on Saturday July 26 by federal police, at the request of the Brussels prosecutor’s office, in collaboration with Child Focus, in order to collect any report or testimony via the police email or the free line 116,000.

According to his father’s announcement on Facebook, Manon was finally located in Schaerbeek, but no details have yet been given on the exact circumstances of his discovery, nor on his state or conditions of return to the home.

This reassuring outcome comes after several days of citizen mobilization and mobilization on social networks to find Manon, while Child Focus and the authorities encouraged citizens to contact the survey in the event of clues.
