Prime Minister Mark Carney announced on Friday a salary increase for the military, while the Canadian Armed Forces (FAC) have faced problems of personnel and recruitment for several years.
The salary increase, which will be retroactive on April 1, follows up an electoral promise by Mr. Carney.
The increase will not go through the basic salary, but by what is called the military factor
