New open source software corrects one of the big defects of MacOS Tahoe 26

During WWDC25, Apple launched MacOS Tahoe 26, the new version of its operating system dedicated to its computers. In addition to Liquid Glass, the brand has launched a new application tab, which is not really one. Nevertheless, Indeed. this new tab is integrated into a spotlight, also reworked, completely deleting the Lanchpad that Mac and MacBook owners are used to using.

There are still two details to take into account:

• The software does not yet support the applications in sub-folders;
• The software will need an authorization on macOS to operate, available in settings -> confidentiality and security -> open anyway.

Finally. note that MacOS Tahoe 26 should be available in the final version in the coming months (like iOS 26 or iPados 26), by the last half of 2025.
