Christian Dubé reacted to the request of the Federation of Omnipractian Doctors of Quebec (FMOQ).
In an open letter published in the Journalits president Dr. Marc-André Amyot claims the withdrawal of Bill 106, which will impose penalties related to the performance of omnipractians and specialist doctors.
“For quality medicine, performance cannot be linked to remuneration; The college of doctors himself judges this disturbing and unacceptable, ”underlines Dr Amyot in his missive.
He made this request in the wake of the caquist defeat in Arthabaska. Monday evening, Prime Minister François Legault announced that he wanted to make changes in several files, including access to public services, such as health.
But both Christian Dubé and François Legault took advantage of press scrums on Wednesday morning to highlight the absence of the FMOQ at the negotiation tables, this summer, which continue their work in parallel to negotiate a new agreement between Quebec and the doctors.
