Powerful earthquake in the Russian Far East, Tsunami alert

“Following a series of earthquakes occurring in the waters of the Pacific Ocean, a wave of tsunami of a height not exceeding 60 centimeters could take place,” the Russian ministry of emergency situations on Telegram said.

The epicenter of the earthquake is located in the Pacific Ocean. However, about 150 kilometers from the Russian city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, capital of the Kamthatka region, according to the American Geophysical Institute (USGS).
