It would be wonderful in a house version of Dubai chocolate, and yet. The Federal Office for Food Security and Veterinary Affairs (OSAV) warns this Tuesday against the pistachio cream of the Marque Restan.
The reason? An undeclared allergen, in this case milk proteins, has been highlighted in this “Dubai style” cream. The Swiss authorities thus recommend that allergic people do not consume this product. Its consumption is safe for non -allergic people.
“The importer Asil Frisch & Food AG immediately withdrew the product from the sale and ordered a reminder,” reads the public warning broadcast on the OSAV website.

Different types of milk allergies
“In Switzerland and the EU, milk is one of the fourteen main allergens mentioned in the legislation,” explains The Swiss allergy center AHA!. This means that the ingredient and the products that come from it must be clearly declared and highlighted on the packaging – for example in fat, italics or capital letters. ”
There are different types of milk allergies. Allergy to cow’s milk proteins (casein, alpha-lactalbumin or beta-lactoglobulin) must be clearly distinguished from lactose intolerance, or milk sugar.
