Quebec Summer Festival: our 5 favorite concerts from 2025

The marathon is finished. After 11 days of concerts under the sun, the rain and a mixture of the two, it’s time to look behind. What artists have amazed us? What are the moments that will remain engraved in our memory? Here is our selection of the five concerts that marked the FEQ 2025.

Bigflo & Oli

The most fierce admirers of the French duo will tell you that they knew, but in reality, who had planned such a party on the plains of Abraham? From recent memory, Bigflo & Oli gathered the most festive crowd at FEQ. The festival -goers sang, danced and jumped constantly for 90 minutes. In return, they were entitled to an energetic performance and filled with success from two guys sincerely happy with the reaction of Quebecers. “Our best evening for life,” they repeated without tanning.

The Formula de la Carte Blanche, which allows artists from here to afford the plains, remains the best idea of the FEQ. The additional cachet invested invariably allows to add an additional soul to this evening. This year, Acadia was in the spotlight with Salebarbes and, despite the gloomy weather, the concert was a success throughout the line. Their neo-trad songs hit the bull’s eye, and the visit of Zachary Richard at the end of the journey was one of the significant moments of our 11 days.

Possibly one of the strongest artistic proposals in 2025. We obviously knew Take Me to ChurchA little Too Sweetbut all the rest of this alloy of rock, folk and soul, it was Wow! Add to that a staging of a rare elegance and a violent thunderstorm watch that left us a 90 -minute window to appreciate it.

Slayer

Mega/if

If you have a remainder of tinnitus and one or two bruises, likely that you were somewhere in front of the Plains scene on Friday to make you bomb classics of Slayer’s Thrash metal. The American group has been diabolical efficiency. In one evening, he compensated for the long absence of metal on the large stage of the FEQ.

Shania Twain

Our heart was in the heart between Marjo, stunning on a secondary scene, and Shania Twain for the last place, but it is impossible to ignore the first visit to the Queen of Country-Pop. The plains were served all the successes of the Canadian, which was also, like many others, amazed by the immensity of the site. “Honestly, it’s a dream of being there with you,” said the one who spoke to the public in French all evening.
