The Verbier Festival had in 2025 its best year in terms of ticket sales. The Valais classical music meeting said on Monday evening in a statement published at the end of its 32nd edition. This year, the ticketing experienced growth of 18% this year compared to 2024. 24 concerts posted complete. More than 46,000 tickets were issued during this edition.
Academy has also been very successful with a hundred free masterclass. 70% of them were complete. The festival is also delighted with the good reception reserved for UNLTD, its creative laboratory, as well as to VF Kids, which offered around forty activities for young audiences.
“The Verbier Festival has once again proven its ability to renew itself and confirm its status as a reference platform for classical music,” notes the president of the foundation council François Reyl, quoted in the press release.
As of next year, an antenna of the Verbier Festival will be developed in China. The festival’s chamber orchestra will intensify its tours in 2026 and 2027, while the audiovidual sector will be developed in collaboration with the EPFL. “So many initiatives that make it possible to strengthen and perpetuate the international influence of the Valais event,” said the press release.
