Each year, goods or financial products are forgotten or are simply not claimed by their owners or their heirs. Revenu Québec then became liquidator of the succession and registered it in the register of non -claimed goods.
This register has several hundred names, including these seven Estriens:
- André Berthelotte who lived at CHSLD Saint-Joseph on boulevard Queen-Victoria in Sherbrooke. He died on March 21, 2021.
- Pierre Carrier who lived in apartment number 3 of 5, rue James. He died on October 1, 2022.
- Gabriel Doyon who lived at CHSLD Saint-Joseph on Boulevard Queen-Victoria in Sherbrooke. He died on February 1, 2021.
- Guy Girard who lived in the Lac Boisé du Lac residence on Albert-Dion Street in Sherbrooke. He died on September 14, 2022.
- Matthieu Sala who lived in the apartment 102 of the Lumineau apartments complex on Bellevue Street in Sherbrooke. He died on October 8, 2022.
- André Strunger who lived in the Apartment 116 of the CHSLD of Weedon on rue Saint-Janvier. He died on January 15, 2022.
- Rita Aubé who lived at the East Angus CHSLD on rue Lafontaine. She died on December 28, 2021.
At this stage, Revenu Québec specifies that the liquidation of successions has not yet started or that the payment of creditors has not yet taken place. This means that the amounts are not yet known.
Revenu Québec also mentions that by virtue of the rules surrounding the confidentiality of personal information, it is not possible to disclose other information for these successions.
For example, Revenu Québec has completed the liquidation and paid all the creditors in nine files according to the register and the amounts available for a possible heir range from $ 3,000 to $ 178,000.
