Released it August 16, 2021, Road 96 is the third game of Digixart Montpellier studio. In that adventure narrative video gamedirection the border to flee, at all costs, the nation of Petria -A fictitious country inspired by the United States-then under the yoke of Tyrak, a real tyrant. The player in turn interprets several adolescent hitchhikers, who, over their adventure, will meet different characters with hectic stories. DigixArt
Founded in Montpellier by Yoan Fanise, a former Ubisoft Montpellier, Digixart launches their first game, Lost in Harmony, around the history of classical music, in 2016. Their following project, 11-11: Memories Retold, is a narrative adventure video game during the First World War released in 2018. Their games were a moderate success, until the release of Road 96 in 2021. Acclaimed by criticism, the studio then embarks on the development of a prequel of the previous game, Road 96: Mile 0. Now, the studio works on a multiplayer game, Tides of Tomorrow, expected on February 24, 2026.
The game is available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendon Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S at a price of € 19.96 (excluding promotions).
