Saint -Pol: for the home nursing service – recruiting becomes urgent

St-Pol and its region

The General Assembly of the Home Nursing Service, chaired by Christian Machen took place at Clos, made of grass, new Habitat and Social Life system of ASRL, Tuesday, June 17.

The SSIAD offers care services that make it possible to prevent, or postpone, hospital stays or in a accommodation establishment, and sometimes shorten their duration.

In 2012, it was retained by the Regional Health Agency to implement an Alzheimer’s specialized team and cognitive home disorders (ESAD) and since 2020, ESPRAD allows specialized care of people with certain neurodegenerative diseases from the age of 18 and an axis devoted to loss -making people. Each intervention is funded by health insurance.

The SSIAD lacks professionals

The president of the association, Christian Machen, is supported in particular by Fresne Valérie, responsible for the structure which employs 26 employees (nursing assistants, assistants of care in gerontology, occupational therapists, psychomotrician, psychologist, neuropsychologist, dietician, nurses, etc.). The president mainly mentioned in his moral report human resources, “sealed” by sick leave. The structure suffered from 947 days of stopping (including 130 days for maternity). For several years, she has not received any CVs despite proximity relationships with training establishments, and its partners. Thus, the association lacks psychologist/neuropsychologist (currently on parental leave), psychomotor therapist, caregivers. How then, make the association efficient? The 2024 filling rate is below the Statistics of the Pas de Calais but correct with regard to the federal statistics of Pas-de-Calais.
