An ex-fan du Servette FC Skipped 1 year in prison for launching a pyrotechnic machine lit in the public in 2024 at Winterthour (ZH), making three light injured. The Zurich justice found him guilty on Wednesday of attempted serious bodily injury.

The Winterthour district court sentenced the accused from 27 to 2 years and 8 months in prison, including 1 year firm, as well as a financial penalty. This verdict occurs within the framework of an accelerated procedure, the parties having agreed.

The case dates back to April 28, 2024. After the Swiss Cup match between FC Winterthour and Servette FC, around thirty Geneva hooligans rushed on the playground, including the accused. He launched a fire pyrotechnic machine in the public.

The “Pyro” pierced the net separating the fans from the field and landed in the stands. He finally touched a woman and a man whose clothes were rushed by fire. A Zurich fan fell and injured himself by avoiding the machine.
