Three men in his twenties were sentenced on Wednesday, one of which is perpetuated, for complicity in murder of the Swedish rapper C. Gambino, shot in Gothenburg in June 2024. A fourth received a lighter penalty.

The rapper, whose real name is Karar Ramadan, was killed at the age of 26 in a parking lot in the second city of Sweden, the evening of June 4, 2024. The car used by crime authors was then burned and completely destroyed.

Have they opened fire?

The Göteborg court said that the elements of the investigation did not make it possible to establish that two of these men, who were prosecuted for murder, were those who had opened fire on the victim.

“The shooting had the character of a real execution and caused great sufferings to the victim,” said the president of the Göteborg court, Anne Rapp, in a statement.

“In addition, crime is part of a conflict between criminal networks and has been committed with the use of a firearm in a public place, which constitutes a particularly aggravating circumstance,” she said.

The investigation did not show that the rapper himself was active in a network, but those around him would be linked to these networks, said the court.
