Expected next month, the Apple Watch Series 11 would be entitled to a new Apple S11 chip, but it would retain the same architecture as the previous generations.
It is next month that Apple should present, as every year, its new generation of Apple Watch connected watches, with two new models expected at the turn, the Apple Watch Series 11 and the Apple Watch Ultra 3.

Even before the presentation of these two new models, the site Macrumors Indicates having got hold of several information concerning the components of this new watches and in particular their processor, or SIP.
According to the site specializing in Apple news, the future Apple S11 chip, which should equip the next two watches of the brand, is in fact similar to that of the Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Series 9.
Let us recall that if Apple communicates every year on a new processor – Apple S8, S9 or S10 – this does not mean that these chips incorporate major innovations. Thus, the architecture of the Apple S6 chip, used on the Apple Watch Series 6, was reused on the Apple Watch Series 7 and Series 8.
A chip similar to that of the Apple Watch Series 9 and 10
In the same way, it therefore seems that the architecture of the Apple S11 chip is identical to that already used on the Apple S9 and Apple S10 chips, used respectively on the Apple Watch Series 9 and Series 10. As a reminder, this chip uses two 64 -bit cores dedicated to performance as well as 4 cores designed for tasks linked to artificial intelligence. There is also a support for the UWB standard and 64 GB of storage.
As reminded Macrumorsthis does not mean that the Apple S11 will be in every way similar to the Apple S10. While retaining the same architecture, the firm could for example refine its processor or increase its storage.
However, with a similar processor, we imagine that the firm will not add great news exclusive to its future Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3. It could be in terms of health analyzes that the firm could inaugurate new functions, if it is incorporated new sensors.
