The Beauce Lyric Society is looking for new talents that would like to sing in the choir.
The solicited voices are in all desks, that is to say, soprano, alto, tenor and bass.
Rehearsals as well as the hearings for the new choristers will take place from the start of September 8 at the Lacroix school, Saint-Georges. The practices take place every Monday, from 7:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
There are also two to three intensive mornings on Saturday in each session (fall and spring). The choir is currently recruiting singers for his Christmas concert.
If you like to sing, you just sing, but don’t have knowledge in music, it does not matter. The elders of the SLB will give you a helping hand. Audios recordings are provided to the choristers to practice. It is therefore not necessary to know how to read music, even if it is an asset.
Whether you are 16 or 76 years old, you will find people from all walks of life who share a common passion for choral singing and music.
