Searches took place on Tuesday at the headquarters of the Antisputants Office (OFAST) in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine) as well as to the homes of two police officers, by IGPN agents, the police, according to sources close to the file cited by AFP. In this file led by the national jurisdiction against organized crime (Junalco), two high officers, the OFAST chef in Marseille and his assistant, were indicted at the end of June for “Complicity of false in public writing by a person depositary of the public authority” et “Violation of the secrecy of an investigation relating to organized crime”.

In April, two police officers from the Marseille OFast had already been indicted, then placed in pre -trial detention, them for drug trafficking in organized gang, laundering or even criminal association. Then in June, another had in turn been indicted.
The Junalco investigation revealed possible “Exchanges between police officers and other people, relating to the sale of at least 360 kg of cocaine, apart from any hierarchical control, and on the concealment of the real quantities arrived in the territory”.
Solicited by AFP on Tuesday’s searches, the Paris and Junalco prosecution said he had no comments to make at this stage.
The OFAST, French leader in the fight against drug trafficking, was created in 2020 and has more than 200 agents, notably from the police, the gendarmerie and customs.
