The coach of Naples, Antonio Conte, praise Kevin de Bruyne: “It deserves immense respect” – all football

Kevin de Bruyne is preparing to make his debut in Serie A with Naples. Coach Antonio Conte salutes his rapid adaptation, his work ethics and his immense motivation at 34 years old.

Naples played his last friendly preparation match against Olympiakos on Thursday. Next week, serious things are starting: Saturday, Naples will go to Sassuolo.

Kevin de Bruyne will then play a game in Serie A. for the first time. Faced with Olympiakos, the attacking midfielder should no doubt also benefit from a few minutes of play. Coach Antonio Conte is not praising about him.

“De Bruyne is a boy who has fully adapted to our environment. He comes from another context, played with other teammates … But he has already been completely integrated,” explains the coach, quoted by HLN.

Last week, some voices in Italy claimed that KDB had a few extra pounds. But Conte is not of this opinion. “He works extremely hard. He knows that the hard work is important. You will never hear a word of a way on his part. He always trains with a smile. And his teammates greatly appreciate the speed with which he integrated.”

“You know, we are talking about a 34 -year -old player here. A player who has had an exceptional career. And yet, he still wants to prove himself. That he is still able to give himself to this point deserves immense respect. He did not miss any second of training. He did everything, he is available and we hope to find the right balance,” concludes the coach of Naples.
