According to new patent deposits, the latter could rely on the experience of Insta360 in the creation of 360 -degree action cameras to distinguish itself from the popular DJI consumer drones.
More specifically, Mauro Tandoi has noticed that Insta360 develops his compact drone with two Fisheye cameras which can create a 360 -degree image of realistic appearance while minimizing the overlap of the images between the two objectives. The other Insta360 drone, which has not yet been revealed, would have removable propeller protections and a modular design to facilitate repairs and maximize portability. In addition, Igor Bogdanov claims that Insta360 positioned the arms and engines of the drone so that they are out of sight when taking photos and videos. For the moment, the release date and the name of the reseller remain unknown for the two drones.
