After the end of the saga with Milla Jovovich and the flop Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon Citythe new film Resident Evil is eagerly awaited. But what will it look like?

“I am a huge fan of Resident Evil Games. I made them all. I don’t know how many times I have resident Evil 4 again and again. I love it. I certainly do not try to completely obey the mythology of the games. I’m just trying to tell a story that seems authentic compared to the experience we have when we play games.
I don’t think I break a major rule, but I also realize that no matter what I do, people will fall on me on the internet. So all I want to do is a good film that tells a captivating story. I know I’m going to be happy with the film, and I hope that other people too. »»

Until then, the only official information about this new Resident Evil is the release date: September 2026. The rest is only rumor, starting with actor Austin Abrams who would be in talks and actress Mikey Madison, oscored for Aorwhich would have been approached.
