Matis, a young 19-year-old worker, died this Tuesday, July 15, in the town of Sainte-Flaive-des-Loups, in Vendée, after being buried under burning tar on a site for repairing a road from a subdivision.
“We don’t sleep anymore, we don’t eat anymore”
Since that day, the pain has overwhelmed the young man’s family. “Currently, it is hell on earth. At 6:16 p.m., our family died,” said Matis’ Sands Vendée Journal. “We haven’t sleeps and we haven’t eaten for two days,” she adds.
Born in 2006 in Charleville-Mézières, in the Ardennes, Matis was the last of a family of four children. “In everyday life, he had the joy of living! He was a real bunter,” recalls his mother.
A big video game lover, the young person wanted to embark on streaming. To do this, he worked as a flicker in a company to put money aside.

Since the drama, Matis’ mother wants the memory of her son to live again and that he is useful for others. She also wishes to create an association.
“She will bear the name of my son and she will be intended to prevent risks at work. We want to help people, give them as a click and allow them to speak,” she said on the daily of Vendée.

A planned white march
