Australia defends its Prime Minister, accused by Netanyahu of being “weak”
Australia castigated the “Unleashing” Critics of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who attacked his Australian counterpart, Anthony Albanese.
“The force is not measured by the number of people you can explode or children that you can leave hungry”retorted the Australian Minister of Internal Affairs, Tony Burke, on the national channel ABC.
Relations between Australia and Israel have been considerably overturned since the announcement last week by Canberra of its intention to recognize a Palestinian state in the UN in September.
Monday, Australia canceled the visa of Simcha Rothman, deputy for the far right member of the government coalition of Mr. Netanyahu, believing that his conferences on the spot were going if not “Sow the division”. On Tuesday, Israel retaliated by revoking the visas of Australian diplomats to the Palestinian authority, a decision criticized on the Australian side.
A few hours later, Benjamin Netanyahu accused Anthony Albanese namely to be “A weak politician who betrayed Israel and abandoned the Jews of Australia”.
