For several months, access to the town hall has been shaken up by a large -scale site, that of the Maison France Services.
Soon, this new space will become a real proximity pole. Residents will be able to take many steps: preparation of driving license, passport request, tax questions, access to computers … A concrete response to the gradual disappearance of public services in rural areas.
The opening is scheduled for September 2025.
On the outdoors, the Cordier company arranges the surroundings. The town hall car park is completely redesigned on 850 m². Its surface will allow rainwater to infiltrate directly into the ground, to reach the groundwater. Draining trenches will guide this natural flow, without going through the rainwater network.
Pedestrian access is paved
Pedestrian access is now paved. A new fence delimits the space with the crèche building. The bitumen coating, posed by the Eurovia company, already gives an overview of the final result.
By August 25, parking spaces will be traced. The electric charging station will remain in place. Trees and shrubs will complete the decor.
A project expected for a long time, and almost completed. Maison France Services embodies Gergy’s desire to offer its inhabitants modern and accessible public services, at the very heart of the town.
