The remuneration of the new CEO, Claudine Bouchard, could reach $ 988,500, according to the information contained in a decree of the Legault government.
Ms. Bouchard will be entitled to an annual salary of $ 659,000. The board of directors can also grant him a performance bonus, but it cannot exceed half of the value of his salary.
With this promotion, Ms. Bouchard thus sees her annual salary increase by 11.7% compared to what she earned as a chief of farm and infrastructure.
In 2024, she had received an annual salary of $ 589,948, for a total remuneration of $ 933,362, according to the annual report of the Crown Company.
The emoluments of the new CEO are online with those of his predecessor, Michael Sabia, who had received a salary of $ 663,577 and total remuneration of $ 839,516 in 2024.
In 2025, the remuneration of Ms. Bouchard will be determined according to the number of months when she was CEO and the number of months when she held her old functions.
Ms. Bouchard was appointed head of the Crown Company on July 5 following the departure of her predecessor Michael Sabia, who became the highest official of the federal government.
