A more premium appearance smartphone
By designing its Galaxy A26, Samsung brings some aesthetic changes. The brand abandons the plastic on the back of its device and passes over a glass back. The frame remains in plastic which is not unpleasant however and does not do too much cheap.
He also gained in resistance: these predecessors were devoid of IP certifications, the A26 is well certified IP67. As for the screen, it takes advantage of the Gorilla Glass Victus Plus glass to protect itself. So we have a more resistant and solid phone here. Speaking of the screen, the borders have been refined, but we always keep this slightly old -fashioned notch. AMOLED, FHD+ and 120 Hz, the formula is classic and controlled. The Samsung slabs rarely disappoint, but the brightness would have deserved a little more pep’s.
Excellent software monitoring
The Galaxy A26 uses the Exynos 1380 chip, Maison processor of the South Korean firm, coupled here at 8 GB of RAM. This chip does a good job for everyday uses with apps that remain fluid and reactive. But on this model, launching gourmet games is not really its strong … it will row, it will heat up.
What we especially appreciate on the Galaxy A26 is its Onei 7 interface based on Android 15, with some IA features and the six years of updates. The photo part, identical to that of the A25, delivers flattering shots in broad daylight and correct portraits, but the ultra grand angle lacks details and night photos are generally disappointing.
To finish on autonomy, he holds the day, but again, Samsung is content to offer a burden far too slow (25W). There is much more velochild on the market, even on this price range, like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 PRO 5G which offers a load of 45 W.
A few words on the Galaxy Fit 3
The Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 is halfway between a bracelet and a connected watch. Its long, length rectangular format allows you to display more information on the AMOLED screen, which can be practical, especially for notifications.
