The UQTR offers itself a renowned artist for the start of the school year

The University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières (UQTR) unveiled this morning the artists invited as part of its traditional school year. This time, the organizing committee has been international, with none other than DJ Sam Feldt.

Feldt will ignite the UQTR scene on September 10, from 8 p.m. People will have access to the site from 2:30 p.m. if they want to visit the various kiosks, foodtrucks or simply recover their ticket.

Feldt will not be alone since he will be accompanied by a surprise guest artist, then preceded by DJ Ben Willlo and DJ Danick Bastien.

“We explore various musical styles every year and in the brainstroming session, getting out of the traditional framework came back a lot,” explains Maryjane Trottier, communications manager of the organizing committee and involved for a second consecutive year.

“We are really happy to get out of our habits by offering recognized DJs. It is certain that these kinds of artists bring a good dose of energy to the crowd wherever they go.”

Feldt has more than 5 billion listening to Spotify, which is proof of its international renown. Among other things, he is recognized for his successes Show me love et Post Malone. Recall that the arrival of Dutch would not be made possible without the general student association (AGE) and without the help of the UQTR Foundation.

The show is offered free of charge to students, as well as UQTR staff. To any other visitor, tickets are offered at a cost of $ 25. “Back to school is much more than the start of the lessons, for its part underlined Olivier Malo, vice-rector with academic restructuring and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to discover and appropriate its campus, while developing friendships, as it will create it at the start of the new school year.”

Feldt is therefore added to an impressive list of artists having taken care of the start of the school year, at the UQTR. The fringent cowboys, the three agreements, Half Moon Run and Loud are in particular part of this list.
