On July 5, a fire ravaged 400 hectares, on the Gardiole massif. He was the first in the long list of fires that have followed in recent days.
€ 135 fine in the event of non-compliance
As a prevention, the Hérault prefecture has made the decision to prohibit access to certain forest areas. Regarding the Gardiole massif, access to access to Tuesday July 15 inclusive. And since Friday, July 11, the woods of the areas is also in red vigilance (very high risk of fire), access is therefore prohibited for the day. Anyone who does not respect this access prohibition will be fined, up to 135 euros fine. This is what happened this Wednesday, July 9, where three people were sanctioned in the Gardiole massif.
Regarding the stone forest and the hills of the Moure, they are on orange vigilance (high risk of fire). Access is therefore not prohibited but still remains strongly not recommended.
