Thursday morning torrential rains: the coast of the a very damaged douce

The Côte de la Pente-Douce could be renamed the coast of the Cabossé slope because it was damaged by the torrential rains of the last days.

The Route de la Côte de la Pente-Douce has undergone a sub-country on one side, essentially that passes the layout of the cycle path, over a good distance. The phenomenon has left impressive undulations and imposing holes on the roadway.

For the time being, it has not been possible to obtain exact explanations about the circumstances surrounding this sub-country, but the whole could be linked to a breakage of underground conduits overloaded by the important rains.

Public works in Quebec City have been deployed on site to assess the situation more in -depth.

The Côte de la Pente-Douce is closed to the circulation of Haute in Lower Ville, between the avenues Belvédère, Chouinard and Calixa-Lavallée.
