“We want to be the arrival refreshment bar,” proudly smiles Tom, director of the Bota Pub, located at 33 boulevard Maréchal Leclerc. The Tour de France stage of Wednesday, July 16, from the Stadium in Toulouse, will end right in front of the Toulouse Business School. The bar, just in front of the business school, will therefore be at the forefront of the event. A strategic location to welcome spectators.
For the occasion, the establishment has the obligation to close its terrace, which will not reopen until 7 p.m. But don’t worry about the director. Rather, he sees it as a great opportunity. “We are very happy to participate in that for the first time, we are waiting for a maximum of people, he says. It’s going to be a party!”

Take -up drinks, in reusable cups, will be for sale, as well as sandwiches. The bar was decorated in the colors of the event, with jerseys at the entrance, the staff will be dressed in yellow, and goodies (advertising objects), like caps bearing the image of the bota pub, will be given.

“It will be very nice, it does not stress us at all,” says the manager of the Spritzza, Italian restaurant and bar in neighboring Spritz, installed at 43 boulevard Lascrosses. They too will have to remove their terrace, and bet on take -out to make figures, and satisfy the many fans who will make the trip.
The Pharmacy Compans-Caffarelli, at number 40 of the same boulevard, will be less accessible than usual, but will remain well open. She will not be delivered this Wednesday afternoon, which should not impact her usual work.
