The online platform Hellosafe delivers data on 40 countries. Unsurprisingly, the daily budget in Switzerland is the highest in Europe.

To help you, a classification of the comparison platform Hellosafe Published this month of March indicates the daily budget necessary in 136 countries of the world.
On the Europe side, 40 countries have been analyzed. The average daily budgets required for a person vary widely within this ranking. In Switzerland, the bill is salty, with 227 francs per day, the highest budget on the continent.
Holiday budget classification
To carry out this calculation, the platform has taken into account different elements: accommodation costs, food costs as well as internal transport expenses (bus, taxi, train, etc.). The plane ticket to get there is not counted.
Among the lowest European travel budgets are several countries of the East. Moldova is first, with 32 francs per day, followed by Serbia (37 francs), Kosovo (42 francs) and Poland (52 francs).
In the middle of the classification, and for a budget around 100 francs, are Malta (102 francs), Slovakia (112 francs) and, a little more surprising, Sweden (113 francs). Several countries are ex æquo, with 130 francs per day required. These are Spain, Germany and Austria.
Top 10 holidays expensive in Europe
Among the ten most expensive countries in Europe, we find Norway and Italy (143 francs), but also the Netherlands (152 francs). Next come Denmark and the United Kingdom, which was taken into account (155 francs). Luxembourg (158 francs) and Greece (157 francs) are just behind.
Finally, the top 3 is made up of Iceland (166 francs), France (170 francs) and Switzerlandwhich culminates the ranking with an average travel budget at 227 francs per day. Globally, our country is classified as the sixth more expensive.
