Trump administration requires large pharmaceutical laboratories a drop in the price of medicines in the United States

Lower drug prices in the United States, or prepare for reprisals. This is, in essence, the message addressed to the Big Pharma, Thursday evening July 31, by the American president. Donald Trump has renewed the injunction made to laboratories to reduce the invoice of treatment for patients across the Atlantic, believing that the proposals submitted so far by pharmaceutical industrialists have not been up to expectations.

On May 12, the Trump administration had given medication manufacturers thirty days to go to the negotiating table with the US Ministry of Health. But “Most of the proposals received by my administration to” solve “this crucial problem always promised the same thing: to reject the fault of others and ask for policy changes that would result in billions of dollars in industry subsidies”is annoyed by the Republican leader in letters sent, Thursday, July 31, to 17 pharmaceutical laboratories, and published on the account of the Head of State on the social network Truth Social. Hence this new Washington warning stroke.
