Trump threatens to “take control” from the “horrible” capital Washington

The American president plans to “have recourse to the National Guard, perhaps very quickly”, as he had done in Los Angeles in early June.

Donald Trump often said Washington was a city “Crossrobe”, “To endemic crime”. On Wednesday, August 6, the American president again threatened to take control of the federal capital, in the hands of the democratic opposition.

“We are thinking about it, yeah, because crime is mind -blowing”he replied to journalists who questioned him about the possibility that the White House had the hand on the institutions of the city, in particular its police. “We want a large capital that is safe and we will have it. (…) The rate of crime, attacks, murders and everything else (…) We are not going to let it go and that involves using the National Guard, perhaps very quickly “he warned in allusion to this federal military force which he recently deployed in Los Angeles, against the advice of the Democratic Democrat of California, Gavin Newsom.

In March, the president even took a decree “To make DC safe and magnificent”.
