Unusual: Airbnb Originals finally arrives in Belgium with a Smurfment realistic house (photos)

An immersive experience

On the program of this half-day Smurmfante? Confection of blue hats, archery in the woods (we tested and it is not so simple), tasting of dishes inspired by the Smurf universe (including the famous bays of Salpareille), and an initiation to the viral dance of the new film. “When you travel, you want to live a destination in an authentic and fun way. This is exactly what this experience offers.”

Here, everything has been thought of in the smallest detail. The decor, the house-champion, the activities … and even the snacks, which give pride of place to blue cakes and fries (the favorite snack of the Smurfette). Magic! “They followed the rules of design of the Smurfs to the letter – and it was very important. The concern for detail is quite exceptional,” greets Nicolas Tytgat, grandson of Peyo and host of the event.

And even if we would have loved spending the night there, we will have to be satisfied with this four -hour immersion. “The village of the Smurfs is magical and normally hidden. Recreating it for everyone, we would risk losing this magical side, smiles Nicolas Tytgat. Having an event like that, in Belgium, where the Smurfs were created, it is exceptional” and, also, a very nice com ‘, for the release of the film, almost two months after the launch of new services and experiences on Airbnb.

To try to book this free experience, go to July 16 at 12 noon on airbnb.com/smurfsmovie “First arrived, first served.”
