The Frenchwoman Maeva Squiban won the sixth stage of the Tour de France female alone by a little more than a minute her compatriot Juliette Labous, Thursday July 31 in Ambert in Puy-de-Dôme.
Third in the stage, the Mauritian Kim the Court who adjusted the sprint of a group in which the favorites appeared for the general classification, kept the yellow jersey.
On the program tomorrow
The runners will leave from Bourg-en-Bresse for the 7th stage which will take place on Friday August 1. Their relatively flat course accelerated on a final dotted with coasts, including the Granier pass (8.9 km at 5.4 %). The finish line will be crossed in Chambéry, after almost 160 km of racing.
