Honest performances
Available at
€ 881 on Pixmania Marketplace
The Acer Aspire 14 AI is a good computer at less than 800 euros. He manages to stand out with his 14 -inch, bright and very well calibrated OLED screen. This makes the display comfortable for all daily tasks, even if the use of HDR remains limited. Its configuration, based on an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V and 16 GB of RAM, is more than for office automation and streaming. The chassis is unfortunately made of plastic, but does the job, and the connection offers two USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports, HDMI 2.1, two USB-A and a jack. Autonomy can reach 14 hours in office automation, a beautiful score. In short, students or mobile workers looking for an efficient and affordable ultrabook will find their account.

Large connection

A sleek Windows 11
The Altyk L16F relies on a French design and an after-sales service insured locally, with three years of warranty. The PCs of this brand are marketed by LDLC, which is very practical. Its 16 -inch aluminum chassis has very pleasant sobriety, especially at this price. The configuration tested was centered on an Intel Core i3-1220p processor, 16 GB of RAM and a PCIE 4.0 SSD. All of this allows him to perfectly meet current office needs and light multimedia. A version with i5 is also available for 100 euros more, which increases it at 750 euros. The IPS LCD screen (1920 x 1200 px) displays a 16:10 format and manages to stand out for its colorimetric accuracy. Good surprise during the test: the device uses a version of Windows 11 completely devoid of the slightest preinstalled software, and it feels good. A very honest quality/price ratio.

Nice frame with extensive connectors

Ultra -powerful
-
Very well controlled heating
The Alienware 16 Area 51 is aimed at those looking for the ultimate in terms of power and display. It has an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX chip at 24 cores, a RTX 5080 graphics card (or 5070 Ti depending on the configuration), up to 32 GB of RAM DDR5 and 2 TB of SSD storage. A beast of power, in short, which will make an excellent leisure and work station, as much for the AAA game as professional video or 3D creation. Its 16 -inch IPS screen offers a definition of 2560 x 1600 pixels at 240 Hz. Optionally, the Cherrymx mechanical keyboard provides a high -end strike experience. The cooling turns out to be very effective, but noisy, as you can expect, during intense sessions. Its price begins at 3,399 euros (with the 5070 TI) and climbs to more than 4,000 euros for the most muscular configurations.
