In very active WhatsApp groups, exchanges can quickly become chaotic. To remedy this, the developers of the app are currently testing several new features, including summaries of conversations generated by artificial intelligence and, according to the specialized platform Hoba function that aims to make the groups more readable.

Currently, WhatsApp only indicates the name of a user writing in a group discussion. From now on, the service could display a mention of the type: “2 people write”.

Better readability of exchanges in real time

After Hobthis novelty aims to bring more transparency, especially in groups where several people are expressed simultaneously. It would better anticipate the arrival of new messages, and to assess whether it is relevant to open the conversation at that time.

This function would only concern only text messages. If several users at the same time record voice messages, the display would remain unchanged: only a name would be visible.

This feature is part of the WHATSAPP beta 2.25.20.17 for Android. It is currently reserved for testers, without deployment date announced for the general public.
