People who have already had melanoma or carcinoma know that UVs are a significant risk factor, but still apply protective gestures too little.
It is a paradox that worries dermatologists: the link between solar exposure and skin cancer is no longer debated, but in fact, the gestures of photoprotection remain too little applied. Including in those who should be the most vigilant: patients who have already had skin cancer.
Whether it is a melanoma, the rarest but also the most formidable of skin cancers, or carcinoma, more frequent and generally less aggressive, patients are struggling to permanently modify their behavior in front of the sun. And yet the danger is very real.
