Xpeng launches in France the largest competitor of the Tesla Model Y: here are its prices

It’s official, the new Xpeng G6 and G9 restyled land in France with their recharge in just 12 minutes. The two Chinese electric cars are available when ordering and finally reveal their price.

Still unknown in Europe three years ago, Xpeng is now on our market, as MG and Byd did. The Chinese firm founded in 2014 arrived in France in 2024 And she already markets two electric cars there. These are the G6 and G9, which we had already been able to try.

A new restyled version

A little earlier this year, the Chinese manufacturer based in Canton had lifted the veil on New restyled versions of its two Star SUVs. And in June 2025, he confirmed their imminent arrival on the French market, in order to hunt on the lands of the Tesla Model y restyled.

A few weeks later, Xpeng finally announced the prices of these new variants, through a just published press release. The new G6 therefore starts now from 46,990 eurosagainst 42,990 euros at its launch in 2024 in standard autonomy.

This new price concerns the extended autonomy variant, while the entry -level declination will be launched at the beginning of 2026. It is also possible to choose the Xpeng G6 Performance, which starts for its part from 50,990 euros.

In any case, the car is not eligible for the ecological bonus, due to its manufacture in China. The SUV can also be chosen in LLD From 435 euros per month over 48 months and 40,000 kilometers. All with a contribution of 3,000 euros.

The Rival electric SUV of the Model is the right to an LFP (lithium – iron – phosphate, cobatl) battery of 80 kWh, which allows it to display a maximum autonomy of 525 kilometers. The extended autonomy version offers a single engine at the rear of 295 horsepower while the performance declination adds a second to the front. Enough to reach a total of 485 horsepower. The recharging is carried out 10 to 80 % in just 12 minutes at a power of 451 kW in direct current.

This is notably made possible by its 800 volts architecture, on all versions, which allows the SUV to collect a charging power of 5C. From the entry level, the endowment is very complete, since it includes Bizone automatic air conditioning, heated seats as well as the heat pump and a 10.25 inch touch screen.

The bidirectional load is also included, but you have to buy an optional adapter. The first deliveries will start From September 2025.

A G9 at less than 60,000 euros

In parallel, the manufacturer launches aussi son grand G9whose restyled version had been formalized in March 2025. This new variant is available in three versions, available from the launch. The first plays the entry -level role and takes the name of standard autonomy. It starts from 59,990 eurosand will not be eligible for the ecological bonus, as for the G6. This version offers a small LFP battery of 78.2 kWh and can travel up to 502 kilometers WLTP.

It is followed by the extended autonomy, which costs 63,990 euros. This displays an identical power of 350 horsepower at the first. Finally, the range is supplemented by the Xpeng G6 Performance, which has the right to an all -wheel drive. The latter is announced at 73,990 euros and claims a total of 575 horsepower.

The two most upscale variants have a 92.2 kWh battery and reach up to 585 kilometers. The recharge is made again from 10 to 80 % in 12 minutes to a maximum power of 585 kW.

The first deliveries are provided for in Course in November 2025. The car is delivered with the semi-autonomous driving XPILOT 2.5, a touch screen of 10.25 inch thus many driving aids.
