The Zurich Street Paradeflagship event of techno music, attracted 800,000 people on Saturday, according to a statement from the organizers and the municipal police in Zurich. A dozen participants had to be placed in a sobering -up cell because of their condition.

The emergency services had to intervene with 757 people with various health problems such as abuses, poisoning or cardio-respiratory difficulties. The overwhelming heat has caused several overheating cases, potentially aggravated by the consumption of various substances.

A participant was hospitalized in critical condition, and a person was seriously injured in altercations, which represents an improvement compared to the previous edition. Despite the intense heat of 34 degrees and some incidents, the authorities draw up a globally positive assessment of this event.
