A mother died as a result of her injuries after a serious accident in southern Spain. Her husband and three children were in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
A terrible drama. A woman from Langemark-Poelkapelle (Flanders-Western, Belgium), a town near the Franco-Belgian border, lost her life in a serious accident on a Spanish road.
The facts took place on Monday August 4, were reported by the Belgian news site 7Sur7 This Wednesday. That day, the mother was traveling to Vélez-Málaga, on the highway towards Nerja, in the south of Spain. She was traveling on a vehicle with her family at the time of the accident.
According to witnesses, their car and another vehicle entered side collision. It was around 4:20 p.m.
The Belgian family’s car found itself on the roof. Two adults whose origin is not mentioned were in the second vehicle.
“Our Vélez-Málaga team intervened following a road accident on the A-7,” the Spanish firefighters on Facebook said at the start of the evening, explaining that three minors were involved and that seven people had been transferred to the hospital.
The mother was unfortunately died of her serious injuries. She was 38 years old.
Her 41 -year -old husband was more slightly affected. Their three children are 9, 12 and 14 years old. Two of them were also slightly injured.
