While the start of the school year is slowly approaches, Apple is therefore preparing to present its new iPhone 17. And as usual, rumors are already talking about a possible launch date: September 9.
It has been many years now that Apple has been holding its famous “Keynote” of iPhone launch in September and 2025 will not escape tradition. If we suspected that the manufacturer was preparing something for the start of the school year, new info regarding the precise date has just emerged and this should happen on Tuesday, September 9.
This rumor comes from the German site iPhone-Ticker which had access to internal documents coming from mobile operators. Apple would then follow a fairly classic output calendar.
An official release on September 19
As usual, the manufacturer would then open the pre -orders on Friday following the keynote (September 12) and would make the devices in store arrive the following week (Friday, September 19 precisely). This calendar, if it is to be taken with tweezers for the moment, would perfectly stick to the brand’s habits.
Especially since this rumor is not the first to mention a launch in early September. Already in July, Bloomberg evoked a possible launch the week of September 8. Apple used to do its keynote on Tuesday, the date of the 9 seems more than plausible. This would also avoid squatting the news on September 11, still dates taboo in the United States.
If you are impatiently awaiting new Apple phone models, therefore, you only have a big thirty days to pear. Then comes the traditional choreography of the Apple Store break, the opening of pre -orders and potential delivery times.
What to expect from the keynote?
As a reminder, Apple should take advantage of this event to announce not only its iPhone 17 and 17 pro, but also the iPhone 17 Air which would take the place of the “more” model, generally not very popular. It would have been the first time for a long time that the company has sprained its traditional logic of range.
