Wednesday morning, a motorist was measured by a radar at 92 km/h instead of 30 km/h maximum, in Fontainemelon, in the canton of Neuchâtel, According to a police press release published this Thursday. It was not intercepted immediately but was identified later during the day and recognized the facts.
The accused man is a 27 -year -old French national domiciled in the Neuchâtel mountains. At the time of the facts, it was already the subject of a driving license suspension for another road offense. The police specify that “a driving ban was notified to him”.
The service prosecutor has opened a criminal procedure. The driver is exposed to penal and administrative sanctions.
