According to well -informed sources, the process of presenting new vehicles is underway, after the processing of documents and files necessary in a space dedicated for this purpose, located near the headquarters of the town, avenue Hassan II. Market n ° 26/CC/2025 relating to car rental on behalf of the town of Casablanca focused on the rental of 336 vehicles of different types, divided between city cars, glass vannettes, large trucks with various specifications (mobile workshop, transportation of bodies, staff transport), as well as luxury type 1 (sedan 1 with 6 -cylinder engine) and Average type 2 size (2 sedan with engine not exceeding two liters), said the same sources.

This new rental contract replaces an old market launched by the municipality in March 2022, which bore 270 vehicles of different types, for a total annual value of 11 million dirhams. In detail, the municipality of Casablanca has awarded, as part of the implementation of the new car market, a total of 250 vehicles for the personal use of service managers, heads of departments, as well as several elected officials at the level of the municipality and districts, in order to facilitate their movements in the field and improve the accomplishment of missions related to the management of projects. According to the specifications, it is up to the municipality to cover the rental costs of these vehicles on a total of 91,250 days of use, in accordance with the prices agreed with the contracting company.
Similarly, 13 vans were assigned to administrative services, in particular hygiene services, in addition to 28 large trucks with various specifications (van), 34 luxury type 1, and a type 2. All these vehicles are carefully chosen brands to meet the requirements of the specifications.

Launched before summer and the holiday period, the vehicle rental market has sparked strong controversy in the Casablanca municipal council. He imposed on the company awarded several delivery conditions and obligations, in particular the delivery of vehicles within a maximum of 60 days from the date of the “service order”, in the central garage of the municipality. The company had the obligation to provide beneficiaries of new vehicles in accordance with the technical specifications, accompanied by all the necessary documents and accessories, such as the signaling triangle, the fire extinguisher, the emergency wheel, as well as the care of maintenance, repairs, change of tires if necessary, and the replacement of any immobilized vehicle within two hours in town and six hours outside the city. Another obligation: the installation of a computer system within the town to follow the fleet.
Only the fuel and lubricant supply was borne by the municipality, and was not part of the costs covered by the service provider.
