Let’s go for the 6th edition of the participatory budget in Lausanne. The inhabitants of the Vaudoise capital have until September 30 to vote for their favorite projects among 22 proposals.

(Keystone-ATS) Thirty projects were sent to the city of Lausanne which, after a feasibility study, retained 22 proposals. “They relate to various themes such as conviviality in public space, cultural animation, urban biodiversity, proximity sport or the links between generations,” said the city in its press release.

An envelope of 200,000 francs is made available with a maximum amount of 20,000 francs per project. The winning projects will be announced on December 15.

Anyone domiciled in Lausanne, from 4 years old, can vote. Just choose at least three projects, without maximum limit. Votes can be made by PREOFRANCHI Bulletin received at home, online, in neighborhood houses or in the redeveloped telephone booth at Central Street.

Since its launch in 2019, the Lausanne participatory budget has supported 40 projects.
