The Tulle prosecutor’s office announced on Monday the indictment of an animator of a leisure center in Laguenne-sur-Avalouze, in Corrèze, for rape and sexual assault on a minor. Aged 19, he would have taken advantage of “children’s naps” which he kept “to film them”.
The gendarmes and justice ended the actions of the defendant. In a statement unveiled this evening on Monday, August 18, in the evening, the public prosecutor of Tulle, François Tessier, announced the indictment of a young man of 19 for rape and sexual assault on a minor.
This seasonal host of a leisure center located in Laguenne-sur-Avalouze (Corrèze) and property of the city of Tulle is indeed suspected of having made “pornographic” videos by filming the children he kept, according to the prosecution.
A source close to the investigation explained to AFP that the respondent “took advantage of children’s naps to film them”, saying to expect a “plurality of victims”, including “toddlers”.
Following various complaints filed by parents, this 19 -year -old animator was arrested and placed in police custody on Tuesday August 12, before being indicted on Thursday August 14, for “rape on 15 -year -old minor, sexual assault on a 15 -year -old minor and capturing the image of a minor with a pornographic character”. The man was then placed in pre -trial detention.
The investigation was entrusted to the research brigade (BR) of the Tulle gendarmerie, with the help of the investigators of the House of Family Protection. The public prosecutor of Tulle, François Tessier, added that “the investigations will now continue (…) under the control of the instructor magistrate, being recalled that at this stage of the procedure, the indicted is presumed innocent”.
For its part, the prefecture of Corrèze, contacted by AFP, announced an administrative inquiry concerning the Chambon leisure center, “in order to check its operation”. The capacity of this center, open to children aged 3 to 15, is 180 children.
