Fires push 50,000 people to evacuation in Türkiye
The forest fires ravage the provinces of Izmir, Manisa and Hatay and spread because of the winds.

More than 50,000 people were evacuated after forest fires which mainly touched the provinces of Izmir, Manisa (west) and Hatay (southeast), announced the agency on Monday on Monday Turkish disaster management (AFAD).
“More than 50,000 citizens of 41 localities have been temporarily moved to safe areas,” said AFAD on X.
The district of Seferihisar, in the province of Izmir (west), was the hardest hit by the fires that have ravaged the area since Sunday. The fight against the flames continued Monday morning in the provinces of Izmir and Manisa, where dwellings and industrial zones have been affected since Sunday by a forest fire.
