At least four Swiss will compete in the Tour de France 2025, which begins on Saturday. Mauro Schmid, Stefan Bissegger, Marc Hirschi and Fabian Lienhard have been selected.
Schmid, runner of the Jayco Alula team, will participate for the first time in the big loop. He will be one of the lieutenants of the Australian training leader, the Australian Ben O’Connor, 7th in the recent Tour in Switzerland.

On Saturday in Lille, Stefan Bissegger will start for his fourth Tour de France after 2021, 2022 and 2024. The Thurgovian roller will try to shine on the Caen time trial on July 9 (5th stage).
Two Swiss at Tudor
Two Swiss are among the eight runners selected by the Tudor Swiss team, which will live its great first on the Tour. The Bernese Marc Hirschi will return after three participations between 2020 (stage victory) and 2022. At 31 years old, the Zurichois Fabian Lienhard will live his baptism of fire.
