Faced with this health threat, the Regional Health Agency was quick to react. An exceptional intervention was scheduled to neutralize the source of the problem before it is growing. The objective: to treat all the spaces frequented by the infected person in order to cut short any chain of transmission.
It is the Rhône-Alpes interdepartmental agreement of Demoustication which was mobilized for this delicate operation. Their specialized teams will intervene on the night of Wednesday July 2, during the time slot between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m., optimal moment for this battle against unwanted diptera.
Residents who have received the famous leaflet will have to transform into real recluses during the intervention. Mandatory confinement within the home, all hermetically closed openings during the duration of the treatment, and even thirty minutes additional once the operation is completed.
Protection also extends to four -legged companions, who will have to join their masters sheltered from domestic walls. As for the laundry which dries peacefully outside, it must be repatriated urgently to avoid contamination by sprayed products.
Post-intervention protocol: daily decontamination
Once the chemical battle has been completed, make way for cleaning. All exterior equipment, garden furniture and children’s play areas – will have to undergo careful rinse with clear water. Gardening enthusiasts will have to wait three days before savoring their homemade productions, and again, after careful washing.
