Works on roads in Wallonia: 18 sites are completed this summer, 17 new ones start

Eighteen sites will continue on the network, including the rehabilitation of the Lambermont viaduct on the E42/A27, the end of which is scheduled for October 2026, and the work on the Pont de la Louvière where navigation will resume on August 22 after the collapse of the bridge on March 6.

The N40 between Lamouline and Recogne enjoys temporary release until August 18 to allow the Fair of Libramont, before the resumption of work on the remaining section.

Several major works are also coming to an end. The rehabilitation of the E411/A4 between Daussoulx and Thorembais-Saint-Trond will end on July 11 for the tracks to Brussels, after the release of the tracks to Namur in mid-June. The development of an acceleration/deceleration route on the E411/A between the “Wavre” and “Bierges” exchangers to Brussels will also be finalized on July 6 to absorb the feedback.

Among the other sites which are completed are the continuous reinforced concrete repairs of the E403/A17 between Mouscron and Néchin to Tournai, scheduled for July 11 at the latest, and the localized repairs of coating of the E411/A4 between Assess and Achêne to Luxembourg.
