A woman seriously injured in a frontal collision on the road to Thonon
Four people were taken to hospital. Traffic was disrupted for several hours.

Large traffic disturbance this Thursday morning between Colagny and Vésenaz. A serious road accident occurred shortly after 5:30 am. “A frontal collision between two cars occurred at number 15 of the Thonon road, near the Belotte,” confirms Aline Dard, spokesperson for Geneva police.
A car driven by a man with two passengers on board, one at the front, the other at the rear, was circulating towards Vésenaz, explains the press secretary: “For reasons that the investigation will have to determine, the vehicle has deported to the left lane. A frontal collision then occurred with a van driven by a man, who was traveling on the same road, towards the city. ”
Following the hit, the driver of the car and his two passengers were injured. “The front passenger had to be disturbed and her vital prognosis was engaged,” says Aline Dard.
The van driver was slightly injured. All these people were taken to hospital.
The situation in terms of traffic was chaotic at the entrance to Geneva. The Vésenaz tunnel was closed on the track in the direction of Geneva and the traffic was diverted on the way to Old Vésenaz towards Colagny on a long line advancing in step. Traffic returned to normal shortly after 9 hours.
