A few weeks before the international competition of World Junior Summer Showcase To be held from July 25 to August 2 in Minnesota, Team Canada made his official invitations for his training camp.
If some names are already assured of being there under their status, as Matthew Schaefer (Islanders), Zayne Parekh (Flames), Sam Dickinson (Sharks), Harrison Brunicke (Penguins), Gavin McKenna (2026), Jett Luchanko (Flyers), Berkly Catton (Kraken), Porter Martone (Flyers), Cole Beaudoin (Mammoth), Jack Ivankovic (Predators), Carter George (Kings), Beckett Sennecke (Ducks), Michael Misa (Sharks), Joshua Ravensbergen (Sharks), Caleb Desnoyers (Mammoth) et Tej Iginla (Mammoth)we have other confirmations.
According to what the journalist reports Scott Wheeler of The Athleticthe following players also received their invitation to the camp: Sacha Boisvert (Blackhawks), Cole Reschny (Flames), Jake O’Brien (Kraken), Cameron Reid (Predators), Brady Martin (Predators), Malcolm Spence (Rangers), Owen Protz (Canadiens), Justin Carbonneau (Blues), Michael Hage (Canadiens), Henry Mews (Flames), Cayden Lindstrom (Blue Jackets) et Kashawn Aitches (Islanders).
We note that two hopes of the Montreal Canadian, the attacker Michael Hage and the defender Owen Protz are part of the lot.
Among those who have not received an invitation, we find among others: Jacob Battaglia (Flames), Jackson Smith (Blue Jackets), Lynden Lakovic (Capitals), Marek Vanacker (Blackhawks) et Bill Zonnon (Penguins).
Needless to say, this tournament can serve as a very nice business card in order to receive an invitation to represent Canada at the world junior championships next December.
